No covering

“There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” (John 6: 9)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Andrew made mention of the lad who had five loaves and two fishes. It was Andrew who discovered the lad who had what Jesus would eventually use to feed the multitude. The word ‘Andrew’ connotes the manly attributes of being ‘courageous’ and being a ‘warrior’. So, the person whose eyes were opened to see the lad who had the loaves and fishes, was a ‘warrior’. Warfare was at the root of discovering the lad.

Friend, if you do not arise in warfare, you may not uncover the lads with the loaves and fishes that will feed your multitude. If you are not intentional to confront the gates of hell that have been erected against you, you may not walk into what the Lord had provided for you already. You may not uncover the hidden treasures that heaven has made available to you until you war through it. You may not see your lad until you wage war for it.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: every covering on your provision, I command it to be torn by fire. I command every veil the enemy has put on your portion, to drop off. Every arrangement of hell that says you will have your lad with five loaves and two fishes around you but never discern, I command it to scatter by fire. I command every battle that wants to swallow your provision to end now. I command your wars to cease.

It took a man who symbolized warfare to unlock the resources that was to fulfill the assignment of feeding the multitude. It took a man whose eyes were open to identify the source of the resources for the next level. I pray for you: may you uncover the sources of the next level resources that heaven has made available for you. May you uncover the hidden treasures in secret places. May you prayerfully uncover your loaves and fishes.

Confront the gates of hell and uncover the sources of the resources that heaven has positioned for you. Wage war against every covering on your portion, and let your warfare uncover what is covered.

Isaiah 45: 3 says: “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”

Declare With Me: My portion will not be covered, in Jesus’ name!
